
The National Youth Ministry of The Apostolic Church-Ghana (TAC-GH) has launched two new initiatives; Youth In Ministry (YIM) and Vacation School of Ministry (VSoM).
The launch was held on Saturday, 1st April 2023, at the Koforidua Regional Assembly in the Eastern Region.
The then Vice President of the Church, Apostle Frederick Yaw Agyemang (Rtd), led in the launching of the initiatives and was aided by Apostle Andrews Nortey, Evangelist Precious Emmanuel Adade, Honoured Lady Esther Agyemang, Pastors and Overseers who were present at the event.
Prayer was said by Apostle Fredrick Yaw Agyemang, after which the initiatives were officially launched to God’s glory. He called on the youth to rejoice in the Lord and remember him as Lord, so as to serve him diligently with all their strength.
Meanwhile, in a speech by the National Youth Ministry Leader, Apostle Andrews Nortey, he made a clarion call for partnership between the Youth Ministry and the church at large to help achieve the aim of the initiatives. He further encouraged the youth to avail themselves to actively participate in the initiatives, and asked all members to financially support the Ministry as and when the initiatives are rolled out.
A short theatre was performed by the Next Generation Youth Network (NGYN) Theatre Group from Nkurakan Area on the theme: “Power In The Name Of Jesus.”
The program saw over five hundred (500) youth members from various Areas, Districts, and Locals participating.
Gracing the occasion were the then Vice President of The Apostolic Church – Ghana, Apostle Frederick Yaw Agyemang (Rtd), Director of Movements, Ministries, Fellowship, Associations and Groups (MMFAG) – Pastor Ernest Kweku Boateng, Koforidua Area Superintendent – Evangelist Precious Adade, National Committee Members of the Youth Ministry, Leaders and Secretaries from various Areas, Districts and Locals of the church.
