
The National Youth Ministry, Greater Accra Zone One, climaxed its camp meeting last Sunday, August 20, 2023, at the Apostolic Resource, Retreat, and Conference Centre, Fafraha.
The four (4) day program which was on the theme, “Making a difference” has climaxed to the glory of God.
Speaking to some participants, they expressed their satisfaction with the camp meeting and entreated the leadership to organize more such spiritual programs.
Seasoned speakers, including the General Secretary of the Church; Apostle Alex Boateng, Secretary for the National Youth Ministry; Overseer Thomas Buxton, Area Superintendents, and Pastors in the Zone ministered at the camp meeting. Participants were enlightened and blessed by their teachings and preachings.
“Personally, my expectations have been met and I have learned a lot from the messages preached which I intend to practice and teach my friends who couldn’t come for the camp,” a participant noted.
“I have learned a lot from the first to the last day of the camp meeting. I have acquired knowledge on how to make a difference as a youth and just can’t wait to practice it in school, my community, and even in my family. I am very happy I was part of this year’s camp meeting,” another participant noted.
This year’s camp meeting brought together over 750 participants from the Greater Accra Zone One (Kwashieman, Mamprobi, and Kaneshie administrative Areas).
Gracing the camp meeting with their presence were the General Secretary of the church and his wife: Apostle Alex and Lady Gladys Boateng, Area Superintendents, National Youth Committee Members, and Youth Pastors from various Areas in the zone.
