Andrews Nortey graduated from KNUST in 2001 with BSc in Mechanical Engineering. He practiced for a total of seven years at Japan Motors Trading Co. and Silver Star Auto Ltd between 2002 and 2009. In 2009, he resigned to concentrate fully on the work of the ministry. He holds a certificate in Church Management from GIMPA and a Certificate in Events Management from the same institution. His quest for further studies led him to acquire a Master of Arts in Ministry (MAM) and a Master of Theology (MTh) degrees from Trinity Theological Seminary. His research areas were Ministerial Formation and the Growth of the Apostolic Church and Corruption, Discipleship and the Church in Ghana: An Investigation and a Pastoral Response.
He has served in various capacities in the church and most of them are youth related ministries. On the APOSA front, he served as National Treasurer, KNUST President, National Secretary, Vice National Leader and currently the out-going National Leader. On the front of the Witness movement, he served as the Kaneshie Area Witness pastor, and as National Witness Committee member. He was part of the Committee that worked on the development of the Youth policy for the church and also headed the Committee that drafted the curriculum for the youth ministry. He is currently the National Leader of the Youth ministry.
He has been a Pastorate Secretary in every Area of the Church where he has pastored and he is currently serving on the Seminary Interim Management Committee. He was also a member of the Seminary Development Committee and the Seminary Establishment Committee.
His philosophy for ministry is driven by passion for Discipleship, Mentoring, Leadership Development, Covenant life and Revival. He is married to Elizabeth and they are blessed with a boy.
